EXPERIENCE

W. West is fortunate to have designers with design experience in all areas of the hospitality industry. Many of us began working in the trenches of the restaurant business and understand the importance of flow and efficiency. Working closely with Operators, Owners and Chefs, our designers work to create spaces that blend the expectations of the kitchen with the physical limits of expensive square footage. Space adjacencies, shared aisles and organization of functions are basic design applications that are incorporated into every W. West Project. We have completed many successful projects by listening to our Clients and translating their needs into the construction language.

PROCESS

Being familiar with the development process of your facility is an unrealized efficiency. As an advocate of the end user, we have expectations of the design team. We never hesitate to question the layout or suggest solutions outside our scope when possible. All in the common effort to complete a successful project.

DOCUMENTATION

Having the opportunity to work with industry leaders in many segments of the Hospitality industry, our document development has proven to meet the expectations and demands of high profile projects. Accurate documentation and coordination with the design and/or construction team reduces and eliminates costly change orders usually paid for by the Owner. The selection of specific equipment manufacturers and options are carefully reviewed with the user.

DELIVERABLES

Each phase of the Design Process is documented and agreed to before moving onto the next step. After careful review of the design, itemized equipment budgets are developed for review and tracking of the costs.
